Started a new Envelope Art series 'A-Z', despatching to people worldwide. Joined CityLifers.co.uk as a Manchester concert reviewer and photogrtapher. Took photos of Matthew Halsall and band as they recorded a live session at BBC Maida Vale studios for Gilles Peterson Radio 1 Worldwide show. Photo of Matthew Halsall DJing at Band On The Wall is featured in the venues gallery section. |

Was approached to submit work for an exhibition at the APW Gallery in New York. The work was created using 5 12" vinyl records and was on display for 2 weeks. Started his final year at Manchester Met University and decided to experiment exclusively with photography. |

Made a film from a bus using a digital camcorder and edited the footage, along with some hand drawn rotoscoping, to music by Four Tet. Started using Final Cut software. Made a music video for local indie band Cyril Snear's tune "653 ways to self destruct", using night bus stills. Created a Flickr.com account for his photographs. |

Photos of his artwork were used for the cover of online art magazine "World Artist Network". Contributed to the 'WAN' sketchbook which was sent to contributors around the globe. Was featured in a Manchester based online music and art website called 'The Console'. Became more interested in photography and started taking shots in the Manchester jazz bar, Matt & Phreds. Was asked to design a two page spread for Californian style magazine "Locale". The background image for a punk band review which was published in March. Sold his first canvas print through Myspace. Started taking photos of Matthew Halsall and his band performing live. |

At MANCAT, experimented with multi-media collage, photograms, installations, etching, screen printing, textiles, life drawing and animation. Created a large wooden artist book based on a song by Tom Waits called "Don't go into the barn" which includes a film to accompany the tune. Based his final project around the London Marathon, using photos, film, found objects and abstract paintings. Received a diploma in both life drawing and printmaking. Was accepted at Manchester Met University's Illustration with Animation degree course. Received a runner-up prize in Manchester City Art Gallery's "Inspired By" competition, for a multimedia collage which went on display in the Manchester Central library for one month. Started a YouTube.com page to display his animations. |

Progressed from pencil sketching to oil painting. Created multi-media collages on clip-frames for friends and family. Sent a collage to the clothing label Diesel, which was used at an exhibition in London called "Lights, Camera, Action!"and was included in a film edited by The Light Surgeons. Created and regularly maintained a Myspace.com page, containing his work. Applied to Manchester College of Art and Technology and is accepted on the Art Foundation course. |
